Sales Force Automation: system for one of the largest Office Stationary manufacturers

Project Profile

The objective of the project, which was a mammoth task, is to service all outlets, maintain up to date Inventory, mobilize goods from slow moving to fast moving locations, ascertain all outlets are serviced on regular basis with optimum distance/time between different locations in a certain route.

Old Client/Server Application was replaced with our Browser based application running on a central server, over 500 concurrent users located at 45 locations on VPN/Leased line delivering on-line information with bare minimum overheads of maintenance.

Sales Force Automation captures up to date data of Secondary Sales for all the products on daily basis, make the same available as MIS reports to Management.

Entire Project is developed utilizing high end functions of C#, delivering all transaction records within packet size of 4-5 Kb, best optimized even on dial-up Modem speed.

Prescient's Involvement

From initial task of Architecture Knowledge Capture, Prototype development, prescient was later involved in Reverse Engineering, Documentation, Construction, Enhancement, Code optimization, Unit Testing, Integration Testing and Upload of Sales Force Automation. Prescient was also involved in crucial onsite co -ordination and maintenance activities of Sales Force Automation system.
