Gemini Branch Automation (GBA) is a multi-lingual automation solution for front office system in Retail Banking owned by a leading European Software house, BSC (www.bsc.cz). BSC specializes in the field of solutions for financial and enterprise institutions

GBA, an online solution, helps Teller to perform a variety of customer operations along with maintaining a list of opportunities for each customer. Customer operations include Cash Withdrawal, Cash deposit, Account Transfer, Foreign Exchange, Facility Payments. The main advantage of GBA is its ability to effectively deal with Worklist Management.

Prescient's Involvement

Prescient has been involved in providing services like design, development and testing of GBA at its offshore facility in Mumbai. GBA has been developed in Java J2EE with Oracle as backend.The approach used for development of GBA makes it scalable and deployable in any of the platforms/environments.

GBA has been executed in iterative model with weekly delivery based on Functional specifications received from BSC every week. Prescient was able to meet stiff delivery deadline and overall budget of development with a successful offshore model.
